staff is very friendly, room is spacious and comfortable. very near to all the tourist spots.

nothing bad but car can’t park under the hotel. you have to park a little further like 4-5min walking distance.

The Mercure Hotel is an excellent choice for exploring the beautiful city of Rouen.

This hotel is outstanding for its location. We were able to do a self-guided tour of Rouen easily and we enjoyed a lovely dinner at a restaurant close to our hotel. Our room was a little on the small side with a small window. I would have preferred more natural light but since we spent most of our time exploring this charming city, the window light di not matter. The staff were also very friendly and the breakfast was excellent with lots of options in a comfortable environment.

The perfect location for historic Rouen

The PERFECT location if you're wanting to stay in the old town - in the centre of it all, but was still quiet in the evening. Great room, the staff were amazing for food reccs and local things to see (like the Sunday market!). Will definitely return.

The car park is not for the faint-hearted, it's a tight squeeze, but we made it out alloys intact!

Stayed in this Hotel before and it was really great last time also. Safe parking for motorcycles which is a big plus

The location is right in the centre. Rooms are spotless clean and the bed was very comfortable. Staff in this hotel are also friendly and helpful. Check in was really quick. Breakfast was excellent.

We were very happy with our stay.

The location is wonderful because it is in the center of the historic district and most attractions are in walking distance. The street is quiet because there is no traffic allowed. The bed is comfortable. Breakfast was very good, including hot cooked eggs and meats, plenty of fruits and baked goods and breads, cheeses...anything you might want.

Parking is difficult to find near the hotel. When we checked in the hotel provided a printed map to find parking lots, but the map was very hard to read. While the hotel claims to provide parking, it is not guaranteed and cannot be reserved, and only a very small car could fit into the hotel parking lot; also there is an extra charge for the parking, so we felt it was better to park in one of the public parking lots, but we had to drive around for a while to find a lot that had space. The hotel did provide instructions for driving through the city to find the hotel, including how to pass through the barriers that keep most traffic out. The information was provided at the very last minute, the day before, but we were able to follow the instructions easily. There is a detailed review of this hotel from 2012 that describes how to get to the hotel and to parking but it is out of date.

Excellent Location, adequate facilities, Upgrade TV's for Netflix etc.

Location was excellent, Room was adequate, bathroom was very clinical and difficult to keep dry and there was nowhere to hang towels where they would dry properly. The smart TV was not capable of using Netflix or any other streaming platform that are commonly used in other hotels around the world. The staff were very good, especially the Nigerian lady who cleaned the rooms, apologies I do not know her name. The reception, breakfast, and car parking was great, although the instructions to locate the car park were unspecific.

Great location, wonderful breakfast, really fun to watch Olympic Opening Ceremonies in the lounge with other travelers!

Location to all the key, walkable sites in Rouen, for us! Our stay was short, but very comfortable and staff were very accommodating, considerate and professional. Excellent breakfast!

The odd window to nothing in our room, with a curtain making it seem that there should have been something more that a view of a wall.

Great location and a very nice hotel.

Great location in the centre of Rouen. Was quiet despite its location. Very clean with good facilities. Very good breakfast. Underground car park.

Nothing really apart from the car park being really tight fit for most cars. Parking spaces were small and manoeuvrability was tight.

Room was quiet and bed was very comfortable. Staff was very helpful and the room was cleaned daily very properly.

Would have liked to have some more fresh food in the morning. Was lacking some cucumbers and tomatoes to put on the bread or as a salad on the plate.
